Art easily explained

Bills Board

[Ambient Adverts]

Since breaking their back as a corporate hack in the early noughts, Bill quit the greenback grind and reimagined themselves as a legend in the field of virtual street art.

FUNT

[Fun Typography]

As a self proclaimed angry typist, FUNT has been arguing it out with typography for several years. Layers, blends, colours and a worn and weathered motif make the work slap.

Digital Rips

[Le Collage]

Digital Rips passion for fashion and collage might seem obvious from their new work but their '23 drop has exploded the idea of real and that which is not real.

Geo Gen

[Functional Geometry]

Programmatic geometric shape building using randomness, lines, shapes, colours and precise angles. That and it looks really pretty when you output code in the form of recognisable pattern based images.

Social Credit Card Reader

[Commenting on the commentators]

They say a picture speaks a 1000 words, why not a million? Is it language specific, is there a tone of voice? Further investigation concluded that, perhaps and not really.

Marmalade Malaise

[Pin it to a board already]

An overflow of ideas that stand orphaned from any theme or identifiable set. Let us not disregard their merit or value, as they are the edges that smooth and define.

Smush

[Road side squeegee man]

Morphing the digital canvas into a blurred blend of bamboozling brilliance. Take any image, attach it to the cursor, then glide and drag, wipe and swoosh, all around the screen.

Toot

[Just a theory]

Think of all the things you read online and how you actually feel about it. Sometimes, people have the audacity to speak their mind. Clearly this is to be avoided.

Dehzer

[Scanned out lines]

There is a special sauce to the process, an intentional order that must be followed, step by step. Get the order wrong and the outcome will not match the theme.

Terminal Glitch

[Pull the plug out]

On occasion, the machine crashes and when it does, we take a snapshot. Random patterns improvised by glitched out command line text. Maybe it is time for a shut down.

[Let us be direct]

To inaugurate the 35th album in the discography, new branding was required. A logo, a colour scheme and a heavily saturated design language. Music should be heard and not seen.

CG

[Rather simple tools]

Known for being inventive and technical, CG used their decades long knowledge of web programming to code a set of unique browser based tools, reminiscent of early computer graphics art.
